What we do

We revamped Chop Yew Lee into a modern site that carries the weight of a long established business without looking dated. The work covered the design, the build and the writing. Each product line has a page of its own, the services around storage and testing have their own section, and the awards and oil company partnerships the business has collected are shown rather than merely claimed. The enquiry form is deliberately two fields, because a fuel buyer wants a call back, not a questionnaire. The site is on a monthly plan with us.

Short description

Chop Yew Lee is a petroleum products distributor based in Taman Perusahaan Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, supplying throughout Malaysia. Fuel, bitumen and lubricants, plus the services around them: storage, licensing, equipment and oil testing. Their site states the company was established in 1976 and now serves more than 3,200 customers, and it names BHP, Caltex, ExxonMobil, Petron, Petronas and Shell among its partners.

Full description

Fuel is a trust purchase. A buyer taking delivery of a tanker load is choosing a supplier who will still be there next quarter, so the site leads on longevity and on who else already buys from them.
