Solar Panel Malaysia
A two language solar site developed around the SuRIA Home rebate, with the whole commercial and location tree mirrored in Bahasa Malaysia under an ms prefix.
What we do
We developed this site and built it as two languages from the start, which is a different job from translating one afterwards. English sits at the root and Bahasa Malaysia under an ms prefix, and the mirror is real: the four solution pages, the whole SuRIA Home rebate section, all twelve state pages, the about page, the how it works page and the contact page each have a counterpart, with the same numbers on both sides. The header toggle moves a visitor between them. The work covered the design, the build, the writing in both languages and the on page SEO.
Short description
Solar Panel Malaysia designs, installs and commissions rooftop solar for houses, commercial premises and factories across Peninsular Malaysia, and supplies battery storage so daytime generation can be used at night or held as backup during an outage. It handles the paperwork itself, including the SEDA application, the TNB submission and local authority approval, and registers systems under the Solar ATAP scheme. Quoting starts with a free site assessment and a system sized to actual consumption rather than to a package. Their site names Trina panels, Huawei, Solis and GoodWe inverters and GoodWe LFP batteries.

Full description
Rooftop solar in Malaysia is currently sold on a rebate, and a rebate has a deadline, which changes what the site has to do. A visitor is not browsing, they are checking whether they qualify and how long they have. So the rebate gets a section of its own rather than a paragraph on the home page, with the mechanics on one page, the scheme it sits inside on another, and a five step claim walkthrough on a third. Their site sets the rebate out as RM600 per kWac capped at RM3,000, paid by TNB, and states the scheme detail in the same plain terms. Those figures are theirs, published on their pages.
The bilingual split follows where the money is. Everything commercial, geographic and rebate related exists in both languages, because that is what a buyer reads before deciding. The editorial blog stays in English. That is a deliberate line rather than an unfinished translation, and it keeps the two sides from drifting. The site also publishes its own disclaimer that it is not affiliated with or endorsed by PETRA, the Energy Commission, SEDA or TNB, which on a rebate driven page is the honest thing to say and worth saying loudly.
